The Economist.com Featured entry: Corruption Being corrupt is not just bad for the soul, it also harms the economy. By Richard B. Wagner, JD, CFP® This nifty feature from The Economist focuses upon an array of words designed to help the reader understand the nomenclature of money and economics. Using the alphabet, it goes through several hundred words complete with values based commentary. Today’s word is “corruption.” The writer addresses the negative economic implications of mutable ethics. While s/he does not relate the issue directly to money itself, the history of money suggests that a lack of integrity in a money form is a prime aspect of its devaluation as a medium of exchange. http://www.economist.com/research/economics/alphabetic.cfm?letter=C#corruption Trackback(0)
