An Invitation to Join the Conversation
Happy New Year, to everyone! And here’s hoping 2009 is less turbulent than the preceding year.
“May you live in interesting times” is said to be a Chinese curse. I wonder: are the current times interesting enough for you and for your clients yet?
In my many contacts with KI-affiliated financial life planners and others, since things started to implode back in September, I’ve been deeply impressed (but not surprised) with how members of community have responded, both technically and in personally guiding clients through the shoals and rapids. I commend all of you for your commitment, compassion, creativity, and competence.
As part of my own contribution, I am initiating a free, ongoing community forum in which planners can call in, share ideas and concerns, brainstorm solutions, and replenish energies and confidence about how you’re addressing and coping with current conditions.
“Open Mic with Ed Jacobson” will begin on Wednesday, January 14, at 10:00 a.m. central time. The call-in number is 219-509-8322. Access code is
202779. I hope you’ll drop by for some good conversation. Please feel
free to share this information with colleagues. I hope to “see” you there!
Appreciatively,
Ed Jacobson
